Sonia Gandhi meets Assam riot victims

Congress President Sonia Gandhi met the victims of riot who are spending sleepless nights at relief camps accompanied by Home minister Sushil Kumar and the state Chief Minsiter Tarun Gogoi."Naturally all refugees want to go back home,” is what Sonia said after visiting a relief camp at Titaguri in Kokrajhar district.The violence in assam's troubled districts Kokrajhar and Dhubri left 78 people dead.Sonia Gandhi visit is at a time when Congress and Gogoi are facing criticism for their responsibility in controlling the violence in the state. “Once feelings are assuaged, the Chief Minister and others will make sure that the inmates are able to go home.”is what said by Gandhi to the media.
